AP2 uses TradeseC as integration hub, enabling a fully automated two-way trade flow from external and internal portfolio managers to downstream applications.
Now AP2 have chosen to extend the usage of TradeseC to include TradeseC ATM module (Automated Trade Match) for integration with their custodian, Northern Trust.
The TradeseC ATM module capture all trades, including FX and OTC derivatives, from the SimCorp Dimension and route them seamless to Northern Trust for match and settlement. The encoding used between systems is XML based and the transfer technique is based on message queuing, which gives an efficient flow with ACK/NACK and failover processes. Full STP is obtained via match statuses that is retrieved from Northern trust and the trades are updated and enriched automatically in SimCorp Dimension.
“We are pleased to support AP2 and Northern Trust with this integration. It fits our product portfolio very well and will be a great complement to our platform integrations”, says Executive Vice President Carl Zenzén.
